OML Spur Calculator Quick Installation and Operation:

To install OML Spur Calculator:

1. Create a new folder

2. Place the two files (READ ME and SpurCalc) from this download into the new folder

3. Double-click on the file "SpurCalc"

This will automatically uncompress four additional files in the same folder.

4. Double-click on the newly uncompressed file "Setup"

The OML Spur Calculator Program will now proceed to install on your Windows(tm) 95/98 computer. Follow the installation directions as they appear.

To run OML Spur Calculator after its installation:

1. On your desktop, click "Start" then move to "Programs" then move to "Oml" in your list of installed programs.

2. Click on "Spur Calc" which is the only item in the OML program group.

OML Spur Calculator will now launch, first displaying a title window that is important to read.

3. Click on "Start" in the title window.

OML Spur Calculator will now proceed to calculate spurs from a set of default values.

4. Replace the previous input values with your values and press <Enter> on your keyboard.

OML Spur Calculator will calculate and then display spur frequencies for your conditions.

For more detailed instructions read the Word file "OML Spur Calc" or, while running OML Spur Calculator, select "Help" then "About Spur Calc" for immediate help.

REMEMBER, "OML Spur Calculator" IS A COMPUTATIONALLY INTENSIVE PROGRAM. IN SOME SITUATIONS IT WILL CALCULATE FOR SEVERAL MINUTES BEFORE DISPLAYING NEW RESULTS, PARTICULARLY FOR WIDE FREQUENCY RANGES AND LARGER "M" AND "N" VALUES.
